ESEE has automated grinders. One article claimed 20s per knife. That means jigs and high speed grinders. Probably diamonds with dual grinders.

There is a company in Germany that make CBN *endless* belts .2 x 42 40 grit belt is around 270 Euro as I remember , I will need to check E mail for exact price .60 or 80 grit would be much cheap and mandatory sanding with water . I've been thinking about ordering one for a few years now ... but ceramic belts do the job perfectly. I don't know how much longer would last CBN belt .Very little data about them .

Depends on the pressure. At low pressure it could go to 100x more. They are made to scrape fast, not grind. Pressure breaks it down. I found data online in favor of them with volume production.

N Natlek Essentially as long you use 20cm drive wheel all you have to do is double the speed. So the small one has to be half the size of the big one. If you can get them of the shelf without going thru the trouble making them.
I think that I should go this route , all big wheels ? It will be much more compact . What do you think ? I will also slow down bearing speed .
Belt is 50 x 1500 which I use on other two grinders . Anyway I must make custom drive wheel .

It's not a 10K "rpm", it's 10k "SFPM" belt speed.

I'd sure hate to bump a knuckle on 36 grit at 10K SFPM! It's be to the bone before you even felt it.
I was just thinking that. Sure it'll remove steel fast but it'll remove fingers too. At least at that speed you'll be able to grind up the hospital bill with no problem.

There is seller on Ebay from Poland .....*smart-grinder* I think I will buy two wheels - 200mm - 8" Belt Grinder Contact Wheel Solid Urethane from him and custom make drive wheel with channel in middle for drive rubber belt .
As you can see they are balanced and they have a good price .

For plate from motor side I will use 12mm thick steel and I will surface ground it from both side . I am not sure for other plate , 10 or 8 mm thick ? Maybe also 12mm , from excess head does not hurt ?
 
12mm is not necessary for strength but keeps thing square more easily.
