Oh, I hit a 1000 posts I see.

K, well.... what do I have I could give away?

How about a Buck X-Tract? I like these little guys. The downfall, for me at least, of multi-pliers is they always have a little wimpy blade on them. The X-Tract has a nice full size, one hand opening blade.

As for the contest, I'm sorry but I'm going to keep this CONUS only since I'm covering shipping.

There's been so many good contests lately. Good pictures. Good tips.

Let's do something different. I'll keep it simple, you can just opt in. But here's the catch. I know these contests often attract people from all over bladeforums, many of which never come to WSS for anything else.

Whomever enters this contest, you're on your honor to read through some posts here. We have some great people with a wealth of knowledge here at WSS. You should stick around for awhile :)

I'll run this for a few days, and then random pick a winner contact them for shipping details.
 
Noshtero, congrats on 1K posts! I'll sit this one out as well since I just got a multi-tool earlier this year that has seen little use so far. Good luck to all! -Matt-

I'll pass along some WSS advice I learned from Les Stroud's Survivorman series that I personally had never heard of before and found real useful.

The Five W's - things to think about when settling in for the night.

1. Water
2. Wood
3. Weather
4. Widow-makers
5. Wigglies

First three are pretty self-explanatory - they all should influence choice of site when bedding down. The fourth is important - falling rocks, trees, branches, and I suppose lightning could be thrown in as well. The fifth - parasites, snakes, fleas, chiggers, ticks and other creepy crawlies.
