In our family, when saying goodbye to some one as they drive away, or communicating from a distance we like to say "I Love You" so with our hand we make the number 1 for "I" the number 4 for "love" and the number "3" for "you" because that is the number of letters in each word. A little sappy I guess, but we all love each other, and sometimes you just can't scream "I LOVE YOU" across a room.
