1000th post Give Away

Ray, currently it is...the 72 vette's motor was built by a NASCAR team I do some work for, that was a MONSTER in the 1/4 (dyno'ed at over 600 RWHP on race fuel, about 725 at the crank)...both the Firebird and the Chevelle were quick cars, too, but my favorite was the NSX. A perfect balance of quick, fast and the ability to pull incredible turns. If you had the nuts to turn the wheel at speed, the car responded! But after getting a few too many speeding tickets (3 at over 150 in a 55/65), and having to replace tires every 6 months or so, it just got too expensive (the car was meant to be driven, and driven hard). But man, was that a well balanced car. I had the opportunity to do Mid Ohio and Road Atlanta with that one, and it performed flawlessly! So it was sold for the S2000, and then after the motor issues with the S2000 that Honda wouldn't address here in the US, it was sold for the Cobra...

Ya SPX, it's unfortunate that some people decided to search out the answer instead of guessing. It's pretty easy to find a post where you say that you have #1427 vert built on May 10th. You also tell us that only 431 were silver like yours.

Hey...he's the one that suggested we take the time to do some research...;):)

But, to avoid any sour grapes, if my answers are more accurate than anyone elses at this point and would win, I officially withdraw myself from consideration as a winner.:o

I already have the model being given away, and would have offered it right back out in another contest if I'd won...
 
Wait, he posted the answer in one of his posts? And you now posted the answer? Or did I misread something?

I wouldn't call this so much a privacy issue as a sportsmanship one. Google should be excluded from these giveaways, at least to some extent.
 
Well it's SPX's call, as it's his giveaway, but he did say, "Now you might have to do a little research before you start to play. The rest is probably just a random guess". Some people are just better researchers. I say give it to him, and good for you for being resourceful. :) There will be other giveaways.

The air is wonderfully pollution-free. Of course, I could just spit and tell you it's raining. :D

I said boo because I didn't win, not because of the way he won, and I might not like how he got the answer, but he did, so he did rightfully win. And I wouldn't have won either way, I was way off and was planning on going up.
