I really do appreciate everyone who entered. I know the rules were a little different from most contests. Fortunately our winner did read and follow the rules.

It quickly became obvious that not everyone was reading the rules. There are quite a few entries that are in violation of the rules. Either too many entries or too few total posts. I assure all those who did abide by the rules that I was careful to ensure that no unauthorized entrant won.

The two rules that seemed to generate the most confusion were:

3) You must have at least 100 posts on Bladeforums to enter the give-away.

and,

5) Registered Users may enter once. Those with paying memberships (Basic, Gold, Platinum, Dealer, Maker, etc.) may enter twice. Those second entries can be consecutive entries or you may wait several days to make the second.

The viability and vitality of Bladeforums depends upon participation so I wanted to reward those members who actually contributed to BF by posting. And I also wanted to recognize the paying members who keep the site up and running so I gave them two chances to win.

I would appreciate feedback from others on what you think of these rules.

Thanks again for playing and better luck next time.

Cheers. :)

Congrats BigBre!!!

CGM,
Rules seemed more than fair to me! This place is only here because of paying members so it only stands to reason they get a little bonus! And the 100 posts is by no means unreasonable, if someone is low on money its understandable not to be a paying member. I mean hey, bills come first! BUT that doesn't mean they can't contribute to the forum. 100 posts just proves we have some contribution! If there were a viable way to tell I'd push it one durther and make it 100 MEANINGFUL posts, but that's no gonna happen. Thanks again for the chance dude!

I liked your rules; makes total sense. I'll probably do the same whenever I do another giveaway.

Congrats to the winner and props to cgmblade!
