In honor of my 1000th post, I thought I'd introduce myself and give you an update on how my knife making has advanced. My username used to be Erdbeereis on here and I learned so much from this website and its members. Without it I'd have never been able to figure out how to do anything. I took a hiatus from posting on here for some reason but I was recently gifted a knife makers membership (thanks again if you happen to read this!) so I thought it would be a perfect time to come back and post more.

I started making knives about two years ago when I was 15 and now I'm 17 and have made something around 150 knives (no clue exactly how many haha!). I have slowly improved with each knife and thought I would show a little progression.

First knives I made. Anyone remember this one from the first time I posted it?

Now to get to the new stuff that looks good! :p

Micro-cleaver with superconductor handle. I've had a lot of fun making thee tiny knives lately. They're much more useful than you'd think as well.

Little size comparison with a few knives I had hanging around.

Let me know what you guys think and again, I owe everything to you guys for your help when I was getting started and had so many newbie questions. :)

P.S. If anyone wants to see more of the knives, my instagram is @starkknives

Great Stuff! I'm just getting into knife making now and it's threads like these that give me hope for the future :D. I really like the unique blade shapes and handle materials. Keep up the good work.

I like your logo, get some smaller sizes so you can put it on the smaller knives. You have a good eye for design features. Adventuress.
It's amazing how much you learn in a couple of years of making knives. To me, its part of the draw of knife making, always something new to learn and then use the technique on a new knife build.
Your grinds are well done, some of these blades are not an easy grind, Nice.

Congratulations on sticking with it and making good progress.

Congrats on the knife making progress! Say Hi to Lincoln, I sure miss Valentino's Pizza and Runzas :D

Thanks! Definitely stick with it and share, practice is the main thing that everyone needs to be good at this stuff I think.

Thank you so much for the kind words Fred, I really appreciate it! I'll definitely get a small logo sometime, this was my first time around etching so I didn't know how it would work out. I've really tried to make unique designs and experiment with tons of handle materials and combinations so it's good to hear that it's being noticed.

Haha I will! And thank you!
