I have managed to hit the 100 post milestone:eek:, and it only took like 2 1/2 years! I know, I know, Im a real Chatty Cathy;). Well I used to just lurk occasionally, and have just recently started participating regularly. In that time I have really learned allot here, and had a chance to share my love of knives with like minded people. I have discovered patterns, brands, and materials I didn't even know existed, and have been given a chance to win some pretty nice knives in the giveaways. Thanks to ALL!!

I want to join in the spirit I have found here by giving away this Case C. Platts' Sons Baby Butterbean. I have carried it, but it is in excellent condition.

Who's eligible? How about this, if you are right now as you read this, carrying a traditional knife, you are eligible. If you would be carrying one but can't because maybe you are on a plane, at some hell hole of a job that doesn't allow it, lost your only slippie in a bizaar gardening accident, or some other legitimate reason, you are also eligible.

Please pick a number between 1 and 1000 in your post. Closest with or without going over will win. In the event of a tie the lower number wins. Winner will be determined this Sunday evening.
