105 need help...age & value

That nose is too short for a 105.

one you look on the rear of the pommel ... if you see a small circle it is a barrel nut ..
and but for a rare few it is pre 63..
{{{ some times you have to buff them on a cloth for a bit then breath on them for and then for a moment you can see the faint outline }}}}...
