105 pathfinder.....designed for used for?

There's 25 or 30 used 105s on the Bay.

And most owners are happy.

I just searched "Buck 105" and gt new ones. I'll have to try "pre-owned."

I just got my own 105 in the mail earlier this week. I wouldn't baton with it, but I think it would excel at almost everything else. It would be a great allround camp knife; it looks usefus for both food prep as well as wood carving or making feathersticks.

I think if I paired this with a small axe and maybe a backup folder or multitool, I'd be well prepared for any camping trip.

yep tackled vines like a champ on the fence.....pointy tip made it easy to get at the base under the fence and slice free

I couldn't have said it better myself. My favorite fixed blade since 1975.
