I forged this from 1075 a while ago to make a nice camp knife. It was hand polished to 1500 grit and etched to bring out the nice hamon.

The handle is cord wrap over leather spacers. I did a japanese style wrap over the cord for some nice contrast and better grip. At the front is a paracord bolster area. The whole thing is soaked in boatbuilding epoxy. It is very strong and durable.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand tooled leather. I was trying to replicate the pattern in the handle. I think it worked well.

Blade - 6" tip to turk's head knot.
OAL - 11 3/4"
