I've done a few of this general pattern but this is the first with a cord wrap. Since the design tends to be popular with the military folks I decided to go with ACU this time and an aged patina acid finish. This is a significantly tougher version than my previous Lycaons, using 3/16" instead of 1/8" steel. The area around your index finger is rounded slightly for comfort and the positioning of the cord wrap gives a good grip for many activities.
Specs:
3/16" 1080 Steel from Kelly Cupples, heat treated by me.
Single sided grind with double bevel edge, razor sharp.
ACU Paracord wrap, not epoxied and easily changed by the owner to suit their preferences.
Notched toward the rear of the tang to keep the cord wrap from slipping off under heavy use.
1/4" Lanyard hole
Sheath is a tough Kydex style with a very secure hold, this guy will not be coming free at the wrong time. It includes a wide belt loop suitable for field use.
Price is $75 plus shipping. $12 for normal USPS Priority with insurance and tracking
