This one is forged from Aldo's 1084. It is one of the first ones I have used my new rotary platen on. It gives the blade a slightly convex grind, which I finish up to a razor's edge. The blade was clay coated for a nice hamon. The spine has been fileworked in the handle area.

The handle is bias cut micarta. I have a thick piece of micarta that I use to cut scales along the edge. It gives it a nice wood grain look. This piece is apparently old, because it is different colors, where some is darkened with age. It is held in place with pins and acraglas. The pins have been peened.

The sheath is hand tooled Wickett and Craig leather. The knife draws nicely and fits snugly.

Dimensions
Blade - 4 1/8" tip to handle
OAL - 8 3/8"

Price - $200 shipped priority mail to US. I prefer paypal but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

I love it. Not only does it grind nicely, but because it touches all parts of the blade evenly, it seems to clean up previous grits better which makes hand sanding go more quickly.

Matt, I'm Knife poor but I swore that if this was here in the morning, I'll take it. Let me know if its available and I can send funds over. Anson

Payment sent. Thank you, Matt. I'm going to have to stop looking for your new post.
