Here is a 1084 and Bocote straight blade. I have been doing so many recurves lately, this was a change from the norm.
I wish I could take a decent pic of the hamon, because it is very nice. It is bold and shows some of the cloud and shadow at the temperline.
I forgot to take the pic with the ruler for dimensions, so here they are
Blade - 4 5/8ths tip to handle
OAL - 9 1/8th
The handle is Bocote with 2 brass pins, 1 mosiac pin, and a lanyard hole.
The sheath is leather and has been treated with beeswax to help waterproof it, and to harden it a bit.
