This is 1084 steel and black linen micarta.

The blade is sharp and does have a sharpened distal taper (so check your local laws). Again, it has a hamon, but didnt show up real well in the picture.

There is a file pattern that runs from the back of the sharpened upper edge to the end of the handle.

The handle has 2 1/8" pins, a mosaic pin and a lanyard tube.

The sheath is kydex, with a belt loop that can be removed, and rotated 90 degrees for horizontal carry.

Terrific steel, beautiful design, perfect size for just about everything.
Dark micarta is one of my favorite handle materials, and the mosaic pin is a great touch too. And so reasonably priced.

I have one like that in L6, every time I pull it out of the sheath I get a little bit of kydex also, it's so sharp.
