I started making these little camp axes for myself and my family because we wanted a light weight tool that would hold an edge like a good knife. I just got some photos back of a customer cutting ribs along the backbone of a deer he shot: no edge damage and a sharp edge when he was done.

Forged from 1 inch 1085 bar stock
Black finish with a mirror edge
Hickory handle
A thin profile edge with enough bulk in the body to split kindling etc.
Head length: 6 1/2 inches
Cutting edge: +/- 3 inches
handle:12 inches
Leather edge protector, no belt loop

SOLD delivered to the US. My PayPal account and email address is gldrewknives@gmail.com Please feel free to contact me for other payment methods or overseas shipping costs.

I like seeing axes on the market, and this one is really cool. I love the size/weight/shape combination.
