I forged this one out of Aldo's 1084. The blade is clay quenched and etched for a very nice, active hamon. It really has a lot of the cloudiness in the transition line that I always try to achieve. The spine is fileworked and slightly tapered.

The handle is some very nice cocobolo. It is held into place with to regular pins, and a mosaic (along with the lanyard tube).

The sheath is 8-9oz hand stitched leather.

Dimensions
Blade - 6 1/4" tip to handle
OAL - Just a hair over 11"

Price - $SOLD. I prefer paypal to matt(at)baileyknives.com, but will accept check or money order

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it

That is a stunning blade, Matt. I look forward to the day I can add one like it to my collection.

Fantastic. I like the blade thickness and the deep belly. I hope you continue to make a few more like this so I can snag one once I have the means.

Matt, both the knife and sheath are great. Love the cocobolo, one of my favorite woods.

Unreal how well you have progressed! You started great and things have only gotten better. It seems like a few years have gone by already. Wonder what masterpieces you'll be making in 10 years ;)
