Does this stuff come annealed? I looked at Admiral but they do not have a very big selection of steel in the annealed state. I do not want to sit here with a "1 brick forge" trying to anneal 7" at a time.

I just got some and am very happy with what I got for the price I got it. Aldo is easy to work with.

I can't say for sure but you aren't likely to get mill run steel in a truely annealed state. That is not to say that is is hard. And in fact it is quite likely you can cut it with a metal cutting saw with no problem.

Better to check with Aldo.

Can it be cut to length and ground (stock removal) into a knife is what I am trying to find out. Or does it have to be softened with an oven? Thanks.....

Yes, it can be used as is. A PM to Aldo would be the best way to get info on his steels available.
