This is some 1084 that was forged and heat treated with clay for a nice hamon.

The handle is bone that I jigged and aged with potassium permanganate. It is grippy with the recesses and the pins are peened. The whole thing is held together with the pins and acraglas. The handle has what appears to be a crack down one side of the handle The crack does not go completely through the handle, when I sanded the back flat, there was no hint of the crack showing. I filled it with superglue just for added insurance.

The sheath is one of my pocket style sheaths. It is lined and the knife fits nicely. It clips right inside the right hand pocket, and is how I carry my own personal knife.

Dimensions
Blade - 3 3/16"
OAL - 7"

Price - $190 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.
