Here is something new for me. I used to have a little neck knife that I carried with me all the time. I decided to make another, and I ended up making several. the blade is forged from 1084 and is polished to 1000 grit.
The handle is epoxy soaked hemp. I use Raka epoxy which is marine grade. It is waterproof and durable. The bolster is leather cord tied in a turk's head knot. There are leather spacers under the handle to provide thickness, it is actually comfortable and very grippy.
The sheath is something different for me. I had to make something that would hold the knife securely. I also wanted eyelets in the leather for the cord. It all came together like this. The cord is tied in an adjustable knot. I think it is called a double fisherman's knot and the cord can be slid down to reduce the size of the loop.
Dimensions
Blade - 3 1/2" tip to knot
OAL - 7 3/4"
Price - $185 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.
The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.
