Ok, I originally made the leather sheath for a different ringed knife, but must have measured the perimeter of the thickest part incorrectly, because I couldnt even get the knife in the sheath. Frustrated, I grabbed this one, and it slid in as though it was made for it. Unfortunately, I had already made a kydex one for this blade, so whoever buys it, gets 2 sheaths.
This is a clay quenched blade with a nice hamon. It has a slight recurve to it, but not enough to become a problem with sharpening.
The spine has a file pattern that goes around the ring and onto the belly of the knife.
I find the knife actually comfortable both with the little finger in the ring, and just gripping it like a regular knife, finger outside the ring.
Here are the dimensions.
Blade (tip to handle) - 4 1/8"
OAL (tip to end of ring) - 8 1/4"
Price - $145 I accept paypal to mlwbailey@yahoo.com or check or moneyorder (I prefer paypal)
Satisfaction Guaranteed.
Thanks for looking
