I forged this from Aldo's 1084. It is nearly a flat grind, but I used the small section of my new rotary platen from Beaumont. It puts a very slight convex on the knife. I clay coated the steel for a nice hamon and I fileworked the spine within the confines of the handle.

The scales are some bias cut micarta. It appears much like wood grain. The micarta has some age darkening on it, and I bookmatched the scales so the dark areas are in the same position. It is all held together with peened pins and acraglas.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather. The knife is held snugly and draws easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 3 1/2" tip to handle
OAL - 8"

Price - $210 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

I have about worn my mouse out by coming back to see if its still available.
My first big leap into the custom knives.
