Here is a nice 4 1/2" Hunter in 1095 and Bubinga!!
OAL- 9"
blade- 4 15/16" long, .145" thick at the spine, .047" measured 1/4" back from the edge, and .017" at the shoulder of the edge, 1" wide
steel- High Performance 1095, with in-house differential heat treatment which includes triple normalize, triple anneal, triple edge quench, and triple draw, for a high performance blade, that holds a great edge, and yet is easy to sharpen!
grind- a full flat grind, sharpened on a 325 DMT stone with micro bevels, to an agressive razor edge
finish- machine 400 grit quick satin finish, and light buff with brownells 555. although the blade has not been etched, in the right light you can see the hardening line pretty plainly
handle- a nice piece of Bubinga, with a 220 grit finish for a nice looking, yet secure grip, and a black paper micarta spacer
guard- 1/4" brass guard, nicely contoured to feel good on the finger, for greater control, and saftey in challenging situations, and 1/8" brass pin
sheath- 11-12 ounce dyed leather with a cam for a "snap fit". Sheath holds blade securely even when upside down, yet allows instant draw.
$200 plus $15 for shiping/insurance to CONUS. I can accept paypal Joe357m@bresnan.net or money order.
