This is 1095 and stabilized blue dyed box elder (quickly becoming my favorite handle material it is so nice looking). I used 4 brass and one mosaic pin holding the handle together.
The file pattern goes all the way around the butt of the blade and onto the belly. The 2 pictures are of different sides of the knife.
The blade is clay quenched for a really nice hamon.
I forgot to include the ruler in the pics for dimensions, but here they are

The sheath is leather treated with beeswax for weatherproofing and stiffness.

On pic #4 the blade looks short. It was held at an angle to try to capture the hamon.
