This is a new design for me so feel free to make suggestions on it. I wanted to make something that fit a little smaller in the hand, like a pistol grip and was mainly blade. Im still trying to think of a name for this one because i think its going to be one of my regular designs. Suggestions welcome.

Love the shape of this knife.I am a sucker for the deep finger choil.I like the green and tan one you made too.You are definately on my want one list!

Love the knife. The only thing that turns me off is the length of the handle. It's too short for me, with that blade length. If the handle was the same length as the blade is I think it'd be a better knife for working with.

THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS GUYS, MUCH APPRECIATED!
Blade, good idea im looking at checkering files now to add grip to the spine
Archer glad you like them! there will be more to follow! So keep watching!
Cramsey, yeah I figured this would have mixed reviews. I was mainly thinking of my own personal use when I made this one. This wasnt going to be a knife for in the woods where you would need a bigger handle to get good leverage with its more of an around town EDC...sits low in the sheath and mainly just a handy blade for the average opening of packages and light cutting needs...without drawing alot of attention.

I love what you've gone with this, but (yeah, there's a but) I think it should be a tad longer. For a fixed blade I always look for something that will fit my hand. Though I must say that I love that blade to handle ratio.

Just out of curiosity, how long is the handle and blade on it?

Guys again great feedback , Thanks!
Well I remeasured and had to change the OAL to 7.5...was a little off in my first measurement.
The actual sharpened blade length is 4"
the handle is 3.25"
the other .25" is the flats from where the choil ends and handle starts. so 7.5 OAL
on most of my knives the handle is 4" so this one is .75" smaller

That's one heck of a value. I would also want more cow bell, i mean handle. I'm sure it will find a nice home soon

and IMO it will suit that purpose beautifully. If the scales were red it would be off as a valentine present to a lucky & perhaps unusually great lady. ;)

Very nicely done. At first glace, a little more length in the handle seems like a good thing, but looking at it again, it really is nice as it is!

Very clean sir!

I'd have to hold it in my own hand before rendering a verdict on the length of the tang, but for the purpose of concealment, it certainly makes sense.

Nice work.

Well it looks like i'll be adding a little to the handle on any more of these to come!
thanks for all the feedback!
this one is still available!
