Can I get some feed back on why this knife is not selling. Is the price to high or is the design not what people what right now?

Hey nitro I am having the same deal it looks like the economy has caught up with us. Doug

in my opinion the design is great and from what i can see it is a good deal at that price...

i think it might be like DP says, maybe its the way the economy is right now.

it could be that right now is just not a high traffic time in this subforum. sometimes it seems as though when i put up knives i get 5 views in a week, other times i get 100 views overnight... give it a few days or a week, pop it back up to the top when it gets low, someone will be along that will want it at some point.

I think it looks like a great knife at a great price. I'm sure someone will snap it up soon.

I think economy/gas prices are a possible culprit.

I think another very necessary consideration is the quality of photography--and that's certainly not intended as a "knock" on your picture, just that it's on the small side, and shows the shape of the knife but is a little far off to pick up detail. I really believe it's worth the hassle for all makers to study up a little to improve their photographic skills/equipment to help show off their talent. There's a good number of threads scattered around the forums for how to take great pictures without investing large amounts of time/money-- there was one entitled "$5 light box" or something like it, and I think it had some recommendations for not horribly expensive cameras that are good at closeup photography. Your description of the knife is very thorough, and it's good looking and the materials and design are desirable, so I think what might help are a few larger, more detailed shots of it in order to help its future owner fall in love with it.

I just bought your 1095 Laminated Hunter last week and could not be happier.
Eric does good work and I look forward to owning more of your knives.... maybe this one too, if the wife doesn't see the PayPal receipt. Economy, Baby....

Oh.... Doe!.. brain fade, senior moment, something anyway, I forgot. I would suggest using something in your pictures for scale reference
