I started using 1095 about a year ago and the more I use it the better I like it. This is the first time that I have done a mirror finish on the steel and I am well pleased with the result. This steel comes with a guarantee however: it will stain (patina) with use!

This is a favorite stye of mine that works very well with small game and even to field dressing a white tail.

I have one in ATS-34 and I love it. Someone grab this one before I do.
 
I had ordered one of these from G L last week and received it today. It is a beautiful knife, amazing fit to the hand. I will be buying another G L Drew knife in the future.

Mr Drew, is that tang extended out the back of the handle? Hard to make out in the pics.

Sorry I missed this one, I'll have to keep an eye out for the next one.
