This is a 1095 convex grind hunter
The steel is 1095 (obviously) and it has been clay tempered for a nice hamon.
The spine is fully fileworked.
The handle is dyed stabilized curly maple. It has a three dimensional look to it when it catches the light
The sheath is leather and has my cross strap system for horizontal and vertical carry.
