Hello BF,

Price reduced to $SOLD. Thanks for looking.

This a first for me, it is a convex grind. I practiced on a scrap piece then went to it. I used the slack area on my Coote Grinder, which lies between the guide wheel and the flat platen. I really like the results, and will definitely try some more convex grinding on my next round!

Steel is 1095
OAL is 6 3/4 inches, edge is 2 3/4 inches, stock is 1/8, the blade is 1 1/8 spine to edge at its widest.
Handles are rosewood with 3/16 brass rod and 3/16 brass thong tube.
The secondary bevels are also ground convex(ly). I have been doing a convex edge on everything I have been selling.
The sheath was made by me out of drum dyed 8/9 black leather, I used natural color waxed thread on the stitch. It is a pocket pouch style, it does not have a belt loop.
Heat treat tested at Rc 58-59 and done by Peter's HT in Meadville, PA. It is triple tempered and cryogenically treated to negative 300 C.
The pics do not show this but, the handles are symmetrically contoured with more width towards the back. Even though it is a small knife, its seems to fit well in my hand...I do were large sized gloves.

Price is $SOLD(reduced to $SOLD) plus $10 Shipping (which includes insurance) to Conus and Canada. I will ship internationally but, at your cost. I do accept Paypal or check/MO.

Let me know if there are questions.

Thanks for looking,
John Landi
