Nicest stabilized wood I've ever seen. The profile is not for me, but that really looks incredible; really impressive Bill, great work.

TK - you callin' me a "fancy pants"....LOL!!

I love natural colored wood/burl scales, but something about this one.......perhaps it's my feminine side.................NOT!

No matter, this knife is going home with me.

Bill does do beautiful work, doesn't he.

I'm almost hoping Bill takes another vacation real soon and a much loooonger one. I sure as heck know that my wife does.......LOL.

Great looking knife. Too bad its above my $ 100 per knife allotment.

A lanyard hole with lanyard would be nice too.

Great edge though and nice spine design.

Mag:

No harm intended - great knife!! Besides, blue is the color for boys - if it was stained pink, it'd be another matter entirely!!

Someone is going to be very lucky and happy with this.

Bill's knives are simply as amazing as they are beautiful!

None taken TK.......life's too short and I don't care to promote that which doesn't exist.......at least in my mind....LOL.

Having said that........blue has always been my favorite color. Likely why it called to me as it did. Lord knows that I "need' another one, but there's that "need/want" thing again......not much in common 'tween the two. That's my 4th Backwoods knife in less than a month's time here on this forum....with one still on order with Bill. Evidently he hasn't yet been able to locate just the right wood/burl to put together the flaming pink scales that I've requested......LOL.

Since this curly blue maple knife lasted more than the 2 minutes Bill's knives generally last after he posts them, he got worried and all out of sorts, so he let me have the knife and sheath for $20 just to move it. Told him I'd give him $25, but being the fair man that he is, he wouldn't have any of that. That Bill...................

I'm also taken with your knives as well. But Bill said that I can't stray 'cuz your work and Chris' work aren't in the same ballpark as his and they aren't worth a chit, but I told him they were! He said, "that's exactly what I mean". That Bill. Me thinks he knows a cash cow when he see's one. Boy, is he wrong! I've taken to robbin' little 'ole ladies at night at ATM's. Evidently I've found other uses for Bill's knives outside of processing deer and elk.

Take care TK............................and you can take some of the above with less than a grain of salt. Not tellin' which parts..............LOL.
