Hey guys this is my first time posting on here, I hope you enjoy my work!
Specs:
5/32" 1095 with hamon polished to 800 grit
4" blade
8" OAL
The handle is composed of Macassar Ebony, Padauk, and Bocote with mild steel pins
Also has black paper liners.
The ricasso is a bit messy as some of the ferric chloride used for etching didn't get neutralized :(
The knife includes a simple dyed leather sheath

I'm asking $105 which includes shipping to CONUS. Payment will be recieved through paypal. PM will send details.

As always, "i'll take it" gets it

Nicely done. Looks like a very useful and versatile design as well. Who does the heat treat?

Thanks! I do my own heat treat which I'm pretty happy with, but I think I'm going to be transitioning to 1084 with my next batch of steel to see how that works out.

Very nice. If I hadn't just set down some cash on two other items I'd be on that! Why the switch to lower carbon? (Always learning and just curious).

sorry for the late response. lower carbon has an easier heat treat and its more reliable to heat treat too
