just finished this one up last night
forged, differentialy heat treated 1095
4 1/8" blade .170 thick and 13/16" wide just ahead of guard with distal taper to tip
800 grit handsanded finish on blade, etched, hamon
full convex ground
fully tested before finishing for edge flex, tip strength, edge retention
handle is bolivian rosewood, handsanded to 1500 grit and finished with tru-oil
1/4" brass guard, and 1/8" brass pin
8 3/4" OAL
sheath is 6-7 oz leather with 12 oz welt, sized for 1 1/2" belt. dipped in neatsfoot and hot waxed
