Hello everybody!

Just completed this little EDC/hunting knife.

Steel: 1095
Handle: Cherry and carbon fiber pins.

Dimensions:
Overall lenght: 19.5 cm - 7.67''
Blade lenght: 8 cm - 3.14''
Blade widght: 3 cm - 1.18''
Blade thickness: 3.5 mm - 0.137''
Handle lenght: 11 cm - 4.33''

It has a full flat grind, the blade has lightly etched. Very thin behind the edge for the best cutting ability.

It comes with a black leather sheath and a belt loop. The sheath is not ready yet, you can choose for either left or right side carry.

I love your knives, but I've been curious to know how you get the darker color/finish to your blades? Its a really tough look, I like it a lot.

I hand sand the blade to ~400grit and then etch it in ferric chloride (50-50 mix with water) for a minute. Once I take it out, I sand it again lightly to remove the oxides but not the finish. I do this a few times to get an even finish.
