This is a good sized blade.
The steel is 1095 that has been clay coated and shows a very nice hamon. I liked the hamon so much that I immediately bought some more steel just like it.
The spine has a full file pattern on it that runs from the end of the distal taper to the butt of the knife.

The bolster is G10, and the handle is Bocote.

It is being sold sheathless. If the buyer would like a sheath, it would be an extra $25 for a leather sheath, and an extra $15 for kydex.

The pictures include a ruler, but here are the dimensions anyways.

Blade - 6" tip to handle
OAL - just a tick over 11"

Price - $235 sheathless, $260 with leather, and $250 with kydex
I prefer paypal to mlwbailey@yahoo.com, but will accept check or money order.

The first "I'll take it!" gets it.

Wow, beautiful knife!

If i didn't already spend about 2 grand on custom knives this month, i'd buy that in a heartbeat!

I'll take it! With leather please :)

Need a big one to go with the small one I just got, and bocote is my favorite wood.

t1mpani, it is yours

You wont be disappointed, I like this one a lot.

Thanks
Matt

Mr. Bailey, you are officially on the short list of makers whose work I need to acquire. Your stuff just looks great!:thumbup::)

That is a sweet piece. The bocote with it's straighter grain is a much different look than the micarta and burls. I like it.

This one showed up today and it's incredible in person. Great work all around, knife and sheath.

Thank you sir
