I like 1095! It works up very nicely for a period knife like this but is still a very sharp, usable tool.

Scotchbite finish on the grind with the mill finish on the flats
Flat ground
Walnut handle

Just before Christmas Gerry presents a beautiful knife. Clean classic flowing shape to the blade and handle.

That is an extremely nicely done knife, IMO. I like very thing about that knife and sheath.

Nice buy, halfserrated :thumbup: would have snagged it myself possibly.
