I forged this out of a bar of 1095 from Aldo. The blade has been clay coated and quenched for a nice hamon. The bevels are polished to 2000 grit, and the spine is fileworked. There is a slight "harpoon" grind on this one. Not real pronounced, but visible.

The handle is some old natural canvas micarta. It is a deep brown color, and I have contoured it to fit in the hand well. The grip is very comfortable and the contours help secure it in the hand. The handle is secured with peened pins and acraglas.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife slips in nicely and draws easily, yet is secure enough not to fall out if it is turned upside down.

Dimensions
Blade - 8" tip to handle
OAL - 13 1/4"

Price - $315 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.

Very nice Matt. I'm totaly bummed out that I missed this. I'll never take her out for dinner again. Damn. Nice grab Knnut. Been waiting for one of these for a year.

Very nice work! Absolutely beautiful! I like the look when the forgings are left on the flat. Nice design. The handle looks real comfortable.
