Here is one of my "Heavy Parers" in Cocobolo!! I took my large paring knife pattern, made it out of 3/32" thick 1095 instead of 1/16", ground it slightly thicker at the edge, and included a sheath. these work great as a small game/ bird knife, or edc/utility knife!!

OAL- 7 1/2"

blade- 3 3/2" long, .092" thick at the spine, .035" measured 1/4" back from the edge, and .008" at the shoulder of the edge, 3/4" wide

steel- High Performance 1095, with in-house differential heat treatment which includes triple normalize, triple anneal, triple edge quench, and triple draw, for a high performance blade, that holds a great edge, and yet is easy to sharpen!

grind- a full flat grind, sharpened on a 325 DMT stone with micro bevels, to an agressive razor edge

finish- machine a45 finish under a blue scotchbrite belt finish. although the blade has not been etched, in the right light you can see the hardening line pretty plainly

handle- a nice piece of Cocobolo, with a 220 grit finish for a nice looking, yet secure grip, and brass corby bolts

guard- none

sheath- Clean, dyed leather

weight-- 4.45 ounces with sheath
