This is a 1095 blade flat ground to a razor's edge. The blade was clay quenched and has a nice hamon that I tried to show in the last picture. It is bolder in real life.

The blade is 6" tip to handle
The knife is 11" overall

The spine has vine filework that continues down the blade. The filework makes the blade look thinner than it really is. It is 5/32nds thick.

The handle is some very nice stabilized blue dyed box elder burl. It has a ton of figure and character. It looks like it is moving. It is held in place by epoxy and brass pins. There is also a mosaic pin and a lanyard hole.

The sheath is ebonized leather treated with beeswax to stiffen it and to help weatherproof it. It has rivots and hand stitching holding it together.

Price -SOLD $190 shipped. Paypal preferred to mlwbailey@yahoo.com
