Here's a sweet Hunter I just finished up this afternoon. It has some killer Desert Ironwood. Hunting season is here and what a better way to start it off than with a new Hunting companion?! It also makes the perfect gift for that someone special, namely YOU! (This is what happened to one Desert Ironwood Hunter I sold, the buyer ended up keeping it for himself and buying another to give away...lol)
There is a tiny check on the right side just in front of the lower pin. I seriously considered filling it, but it doesn't affect performance and many times a filled void stands out like a soar thumb. I left a tiny bit of wax in it so it would show up in the pics. If the new buyer wants it filled, I'll happily do it.
Here's the specs on the Knife.
Steel: Aldo's 1095, .135 at the top of the ricasso. Convexed ever so slightly near the edge for better performance with V cutting edge with a micro bevel. Cuts like a laser!
Handles: Desert Ironwood with Red Liners
Hardware: two 1/8" Brass Pins and one Mosaic pin
Blade Height: 1 1/8"
Blade Length: 4"
OAL: 9"
Includes handcrafted - hand tooled Premium sheath made from Hermann Oak leather that was made by myself.
