Hey everybody,

I've been making knives for the past few years, and have specialized in swords and seaxes for the last couple of years. This one is a little bit of an offshoot for me, closer to what I made several years ago.

Here is an integral made from 1095 with a cocobolo handle and brass buttcap. If features my makers mark on the bolster.

Over all length is 9.25"
Blade length is 4"

Asking $160
Sheath included. :)

Thanks Don! I saw your nephew Phillip a couple weeks ago at an art exhibition... Seems he's thinking out getting back into knives after all the bike welding he's been doing....

Very nice integral,Jesse. How do you have the brass butt cap attached? Did you get a hamon? :) I think I can see it,just not clearly.Welcome to BladeForums. :D

Thanks!

The buttcap is peened on by the tang, and a separate hole with a brass rod is peened on the end as well, to prevent lateral movment.

The blade is through hardened. I kept the bevels a a pretty shallow angle, coming almost to zero on the edge, so one could get a lifetime of sharpening out of it with a minimal loss of peformance:)
