1095 Interrupted (?) water quench

I am on the verge of ordering some steel from Aldo. Due to location I am going to use a water quench. The blades are going to be @ 9" x 1". The thickness will be either 3/16" or 1/4". How long do I need to quench the blade to get it to 450 - 600 F?
