Here's a Kephart I finished today I am very happy with the way it came out it's razor sharp and feels the hand well I hope you like it here's the specs.

Steel-Aldo's 1/8" 1095
Blade- 4 1/8" hand sanded to 400 grit
Handle-4 1/2" with walnut scales held on with G-flex and brass pins. I super glued the flaw in the handle.
Grind- Flat with convex edge
It was heat treated in a evenheat oven quenched in brine, triple draw at 500 degrees for a Rc of 58-60
Sheath is 6/7 oz. leather hand stitched.

$140 Paypal preferred (michaelpresnellknives@gmail.com) but other methods of payment are accepted.

Thanks for looking!

You know, I see a lot of makers claiming they make a "Kephart" knife. Then when you see their knife you wonder if they've even read what Horace wrote about the perfect woods knife. From the looks of this knife, you've certainly read Kepharts description and I'm sure he would have been more than thrilled to carry this beautiful example of a Kephart knife!

Thanks Bug! I read the book and I grew up not far from the Great Smoky Mtns National Park. I did some work at Western Carolina University last year and got to see his knife several times in the library.
