I have carried this knife for close to 2 months, skinned rattlers, cut up raw meat for my pitbull and decided to make myself something alittle smaller. Its 1095 with a great hamon that sticks out well, brass guard, curly maple handle. Overall lenght is 11 7/8 inches, top of guard to tip is 6 1/2 inches, blade is 1 1/2 inches wide. I called this a harpoon tip, the clip is sharp but not razor sharp, thickness at the ricasso is 3/8. Price on this one is 120.00 without a sheath, Im trying to get my name out their so I will be selling good quality knives for very fair prices for a while. Every knife I make is heat treated ,tempered and tested to ensure quality. 120.00 for this knife is a steal, Godbless and thanks, feel free to ask any questions,Charlie:)

Guys, you won't be disappointed at anything Charlie offers! He's probably destroyed more blades before being satisfied to actually finish one than most makers have made. This isn't hyperbole, this is fact, Charlie went through about 100# of 1084 and 5160 learning to forge, grind and heat treat. Every one of those blades was broken and resting/rusting in buckets around his shop. Fit and finish is wayyy above his experience level, probably from being a pool cue maker before crossing over to knives and how much he cares about the craft.

Ah well, awesome knife Charlie, is this the one I swung around at the house? Very light blade and well done.

Charlie, job well done. I'll be looking forward to more of your work. Sorry I missed this one!!!!!!!

I am not familiar with Charlie's work, but I was sure impressed with the design of the first two he has posted for sale on this forum. Looking forward to receiving this one.

BTW, Charlie noted the thickness is 3/16ths, not 3/8ths as posted. Should be light for a large hunter.

Received Charlie's hunter today. Can't say enough about how nice it is! Will is correct in saying f/f above experience level. I think your future is bright in custom knifemaking, Charlie! I will enjoy this knife immensely.
