Triple tempered and subzero quenched 1095 high-carbon steel. Lace-wood handle scales black liners brass pins, brass thong tube hole.
9" overall, 4" cutting edge, 4 7/8" handle, The handle is 1 1/8" thick at the thickest and 1 1/4" wide at the hight if the palm swell. Hand tooled, and hand stitched leather sheath.
I do a lot of research on handle ergonomics. This handle will feel good in most peoples hands.

great lookin knife. how did you finish the handle?

Thanks. The handle is lacewood, witch is sturdy but very porous. This was the perfect material to try a Cyanocrylate finish. Around 10 coats are applied, the first few just soak in to the wood. After a good layer is built up it is sanded at 600 grit then buffed with wax. The hard part for me is keeping my dirty hands off of it.
