1095 Cocobolo Recurve with Hamon

This is one from some of Aldo's 1095. The blade was clay coated for a nice hamon. The spine is fileworked.

The handle is some nice cocobolo. It is held in place with normal pins and one mosaic, along with acraglas.

The sheath is 8-10oz hand stitched and tooled leather. It holds the knife securely and allows it to draw easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 5/8" tip to handle
OAL - 10 1/2"

Matthew: Very nicely done! The leather work is exceptional too - tell me, where do you get your leather?

TK, For the longest time I was getting it from Tandy. Recently, I bought some from Wickett and Craig, and will probably not go back to Tandy. The middle grade leather from W&C was very nice and priced at least competetively with Tandy, if not better.

Thanks everyone.
