Hello BF,
SOLD.
PRICE REDUCTION - I need to put together a budget for finishing supplies, I have 35 blanks at HT that should be back to me by mid next week.
I call this a semi tactical because I have incorporated a couple of tactical elements into the knife. I wanted to try out screws, this is my first knife where I used screws to hold the handle slabs to the tang. I also used Black canvas Micarta, finished a bit rough, for both look and purpose. I also left the handle edges a bit boxy...I also attempted my first swedge on this one, and it turned out well. It is very even, small but, even!
Knife is 9 1/8 inches OAL with a 4 1/4 inch cutting edge. It was made form 3/16 stock 1095. Is does have a hollow ground primary bevel, that is fairly "straight" this time around... although not dead on perfect.
Handles are black canvas Micarta with lack oxide coated screws held in using stand off's.
Sheath is right handed pouch style, 9/10 veg tan leather made by me for belt carry. It was treated with Neats Foot Oil for color and protection.
Knife was professionally heat treaded by Peters in Meadville, PA. It was hardened, tripled tempered, cryo-ed, and tested to Rc 58-59.
Knife is reduced to $sold (from $75) plus $10 for shipping and insurance to CONUS. I will ship internationally but, at the buyers additional expense.
Regards,
John Landi
