1095 vs. Oak? Real Deal?

I've worked the hell out of my 6 in the brief time I've owned it - but didn't take photo's like you did... thanks for the good post.

But...but...but what if you had to make a shelter DUDE?!?!?! What then!?!?!?! :D

Already taken care of last November! :D  :D

Nice work showing just what the 6 is capable of doing. That knife amazes me more and more each time I take it to the woods.

Thanks for the pictures, I find it amazing how far the blade can be bent and still return to its original shape.

Those are some great pics you took, dig the shelter! Also,an awesome workout of the 6,I know I love mine!

Nice pics even when viewing them on my mobile. And to think some worry about damaging their knife when splitting kindling :D

I thought the pics were very nice!

I love my 4. Not sure what my next ESEE will be, but this thread is doing some good to persuade me to get a 6 next.

Dude, you used that 6 and runed it's resale value.

LOL! Just kidding man. I'd rather see a knife used then sit in a safe all day. Love this thread and the pictures look good to me. I've been thinking about buying a Esee-6 and this thread sure is helping. ;)

Thanks for the great pics, and write up.
I was never a big fan of the 6, but after this post, I think thats starting to change:thumbup:

Nice work on the ESEE-6, it definitely validates itself as a tough and reliable knife. I put my ESEE-6 through the ringer a couple of times a week processing fire wood. The firewood I use is hard and knotty and it freaks me out to see the ESEE-6 bent and contorted in the wood, then impresses me when it can cut through the sticking point and come out like nothing happened.

I'm glad you posted the pictures to show just how tough the ESEE-6 is.
