I designed this to be used out doors or in combat. It is 5/32" 1095 with an OAL of 8.5" and an edge 4" long. the Micarta handles are bolted together with 3 1/4x20 screws and the handles have routed perpendicular grooves for grip. The edge on this knife is flat not convex, and has a 20-25' inclusive angle on the edge, so it is wicked sharp. This also includes a 9oz leather sheath/w snap, the sheath is tooled and rides very well.

Price: $90 shipped in the US. paypal fees included in price, I also accept checks or MO's but prefer paypal.

Thanks for looking, -Josiah

I though I would add that the handle scales are not epoxied to the knife, I put some oil between the scales and the tang to keep the moisture out. I could epoxy them together if the buyer wishes, just to add some protection.

This is a great user, feels great in the hand and is balanced right at the first groove.

Thanks josh. It seems that there is not a big market here for tactical knives, I have noticed. Most of the knives I make that do well are hunters, unfortunately I really like to make tactical knives.

I am getting a HT kiln this week so hopefully the will speed up my process, expect to see some cool stuff in the next month. If you like tactical knives that is.

Edit: That ironwood in the back ground of my pix will soon be resawn in to knife handles. I found it on my grandmothers land, I don't know how old it is but it has some crazy grain.

SOLD, to hondo.

If there is anyone interested in another one of these just let me know. I have one with a full convex on my bench waiting for HT. If you want it, you can let me know things like handle and sheath preference, so you get the exact knife you want. NOTE: I don't accept payment until my knives are done.

Thanks for looking,-Josiah

Working vacations produce the best pix and stories :) . That being said I am in much better shape now ;) That pic was 6mo ago before I decided to go out for seals.
