The Camp Knife listed below is currently available. Forged from 1/4" x 1-1/2" 1095, differential heat treat, double quinch, triple tempered. The blade is 10” x 2” wide, overall length is 15”. Handle is English Walnut and heavily contoured, guard/spacer/pin are copper. The blade has a “scotchbrite” finish (hand sanded to 220 grit then a scotch brite pad), very easy to clean up after use, camping trips etc.

My apologies for the poor photos, and they were taken right after cutting with the knife so you may see some scuffs/scratches that will be cleaned up before shipping.

Priced at $475 shipped (no sheath yet), Any questions or for further info., email mattlamey@mac.com

After using this knife a few days, I made a few slight changes, here are some new pics-

does the price include a sheath? and how long is the handle? do you have a pic of the blade tip from the top viewing down?

Hi Deltablade,
I know Matt gets so busy working that sometimes he doesn't get a chance to check this forum every day. I don't think he'll mind if I give you some information. The top of the blade near the tip is sharp. It looks like on this knife that would be about 5 or so sharp inches. For me this is one of the cool features Matt incorporates in his knives. The main edge tapers from the quarter inch thickness of the blade to sharp over the 2 inches width of the blade from spine to edge. The top edge looks to taper to sharp over about 5/8ths inch, so it is a different type of sharp but believe me, it is sharp none the less. On my Lamey's this top edge could inflict a nice cut or would be excellent for breaking bones, but you probably would want to slice salami with the other edge.
If you don't have a Lamey, I highly recommend buying one.

And your other question about the sheath, typically Matt doesn't sell his knives with a sheath but he will hook you up with a sheathmaker if you wish.

hi all, i will get you the pics you asked for on monday (unless it sells in the meantime). I am out of town until then.

The handle is right at 5" long from the face of guard to the butt. Has alot of contour that you really cant see in the pics. A very nice handling Camp knife with enough mass to still chop effectively.

It currently does not have a sheath, can have Dave Smith make one for $45.

Clip is sharp, not really for primary cutting, more of a "sacrafice" edge. Any other questions feel free to PM or email, thanks, Matt

here is a view of the blade from guard/tip.Not really sure what this shows, but here ya go-
