1095cv vs o1

Practically speaking, what is the diff between 1095cv & o1? They look really similar in terms of the alloy content.
 
O1 takes a harder edge w/o problems. However the only O1 I have is a Sunfish forge custom with a convex grind at 61Rc.

Yeah, I have much higher regard for O1, as my blades in that steel perform significantly better than my 1095 blades, BUT my O1 knives are all custom and my 1095 are all production so it's not really a fair comparison.
 
I only own production versions of these steels and I can't tell a performance difference between them. Both get razor sharp, hold an edge well, don't chip, and hold up to what I need them for. I do feel that the 01 stained easier for some reason.
