Hello everyone! I have a couple of knives to offer you this week.
The first is a skinning knife I made myself a few years ago from some thin CPM 10V stock that I had. I made this knife and a full size hunter for processing whitetail deer and I ran into a problem. I never get around to using the skinning knife! The hunting knife just holds that edge like nutz. This one just sits in my hunting bag and goes for the ride along. It's time someone puts it to good use. The blade is made from thin 10V, which is such an impressive, but expensive, knife steel. With an overall vanadium carbide volume of 17%, this steel can cut for days. The heat treatment was done in house, as always, and the final hardness after "cryo" and triple tempers is 65HRC. The blade has a full flat grind terminating in a thin edge, the heel has been rounded for comfort, and the spine features jimping for traction with various grip styles. The blade is blaze orange 10 with black liners and pins. If you know CPM 10V, you know! This is one workhorse of a knife!
OAL: 6.5"
Blade: 3"
Handle: 3.5"
Thickness: 0.070"
Steel: CPM 10V 65HRC with cryo
Edge: 13° per side, 3 micron
Price: sold (includes kydex sheath)

I also have a kiridashi for sale. This is the first single bevel kiri I have ever made and it was a fun and interesting build. The steel is D2 heat treated in house to 63HRC with "cryo" and triple tempers. The blade is single bevel, ground only on the right side with a very small micro bevel. It is just stupid sharp. The handle is curly maple with a hand rubbed finish. It will sharpen your pencil like nobody's business!
OAL: 5.5"
Blade: 2.25"
Handle: 3.25"
Thickness: 0.060"
Steel: D2 63HRC with cryo
Edge: 15°
Price: SPF

Paypall preferred (samuraistuart@yahoo.com). All knives come with free shipping in the USA as well as a lifetime unconditional warranty. Something goes wrong, the knife gets repaired or replaced. I ask that the buyer be aware that most all of my knives are cutting tools and are made only for their intended use. I like to make thin, hard knives that excel at cutting and not necessarily able to take abuse. If you have any questions, feel free to DM me here or contact me by email (samuraistuart@yahoo.com). Thanks for taking a look, and follow me on Instagram at stuartalandavenport.
